Clunes Ceramic Award, 2022
We are delighted to announce that we are (re)-opening the Clunes Ceramics Award for 2022.
The Clunes Ceramic Award is an initiative of Creative Clunes Inc. and is in partnership with the Art Gallery of Ballarat and the Castlemaine Art Gallery and Historical Museum.
The Clunes Ceramic Award is a biennial event and was first held in 2009. The success of the first, and following, Award has ensured that The Clunes Ceramic Award will continue to develop as a respected and highly prized Regional Arts Event in the Australian state of Victoria.
Guest Judge: Dr. Rebecca Coates
Artistic Director Shepparton Art Museum
The winning artist’s work will attract the total prize money of $10,000 contributed by the Hugh Williamson Foundation.
This is an acquisitive prize for 2022.
The Runner Up receives a prize of $2,500.
A People’s Choice Award to the value of $2,500 will be awarded and announced close to the conclusion of the exhibition.
Recognition Awards will be presented at the discretion of the judging panel and announced at the exhibition opening.All entries are for sale.

Exhibition preview: Locals, Collectors and Galleries event Friday 30th September 2022
Exhibition Dates: Saturday 1st October to Sunday 23rd October 2022
Official Exhibition opening & announcement of winners: Saturday 1st October 2022
Exhibition Close: Sunday 23rd October 2022
People’s Choice Award announced: Sunday 23rd October 2022
Unsold works to be collected: No later than Tuesday 1st November 2022
Items uncollected will be returned COD via Pack & Send.
